Golf Back Stretches – Golf Warm Up

Golf Warm Up – Back Stretches

Today Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Specialist Ha Bui demonstrates golf back stretches you can do before you hit the links. Focus on a slow controlled stretch to give your muscles time to extend properly.

Stretching before and after golf can be very helpful for range of motion, club speed and your overall health. Even if you think you have a pretty good range of motion, the slightest limitation can impact your score and how much you enjoy your golf game. Take the time to properly stretch on a regular basis and you’ll see long term benefits.

Be careful in any stretch you do whether it be in your golf warm up plan or for any other reason since it is easy to do too much. Pay particular attention to how your muscles feel as you do stretch them. They will tell you when you’re about to go too far.
